  • Class Performance Assignments: Our Recitals will be held on May 30 & 31 at the Lockport Palace Theater. We have divided our dances into 4 recital performances to keep our show lengths and ticket availability manageable! Every effort was made to limit families in multiple shows but it is impossible to eliminate. Dancer Report Time is ONE HOUR before the show time listed, so everyone is ready for lineup.

  • Class Moms: We are in need of 1-2 moms from each Combo, Split & Starz class to chaperone dancers. Class moms do not need to purchase a ticket as you will sit in the balcony dancer's area with the children. We are also in need of Moms to monitor entrances and dressing areas. High school dancers are also welcome to volunteer for shows they are not in for volunteer hours. Please email the office if you would like to help!

  • In Person Guests: Tickets will go on sale through TutuTix in early May for you to reserve your first 6 tickets for your family. Please note: you will receive a Ticket Code for your family to order your first 6 tickets.  Your TICKET CODES will be emailed home after May 1 - please watch for this email. Tuition accounts must be PAID IN FULL for your ticket code(s) to be released.

  • Virtual Guests: DanceBug will be returning this season to video our Recitals. All families will receive LIVESTREAMING access along with keepsake video downloads of your recital performances! Details will follow in a separate email.

  • Recital T-shirts and Glitter Rose Bouquets will be available for purchase on the Parent Portal for pre-order around January. All make great souvenirs for your dancer and we will have them right at the theater for you to pick up before the show along with many gift ideas!

  • Dancer Report Time:  Dancers MUST REPORT ONE HOUR before showtime in your first or only costume so that they are organized, calm and ready to shine on stage! 

  • Audience Member:  Please form one line in the lobby with your tickets ready. Having your tickets ready will keep this process moving quickly! Tickets can be printed or shown on your phone.  Once your tickets have been checked, please proceed to bring your child to the balcony and take your seats so the show can begin!

 

  • All Educational Dancers should report to the Balcony area when arriving to the theater and sit in the row for their first or only dance. Dancers will be enjoying watching the show from the balcony at all times they are not lined up to go onstage.

  • Competition Dancers  – Company please proceed to the downstairs dressing area with your costumes. Once the show has begun, we ask that parents refrain from entering the backstage or downstairs dressing areas.  Prep, Mini & Junior dancers please proceed to the balcony with your costumes. 

  • Dancers with quick changes of 3 dances or less should report backstage with those costumes to get set up in the quick-change area. A faculty member will help dancers with their quick-change backstage. 
     
  • We ask that the audience remain seated throughout the performance. The show is being professionally videotaped, standing audience members will block the cameraman.

  • NO PHOTOGRAPHY or VIDEOTAPING during the recital as it is very distracting and dangerous to the dancers onstage. Due to contract regulations & copyright laws, videotaping on phones or any other device is NOT permitted at the Recital performances. Remember, all families will have access to the digital download of the recital video this season. So sit back and enjoy the show live and in person!

  • Dismissal- Once the show concludes 1 parent may go up the staircase on the RIGHT (facing the theater) form a line to go up to the balcony area, pick up their child and the proceed down the left staircase. Entrances will be monitored. This will keep the flow of traffic moving!

  • Parents will not be permitted in the dancer's area of the balcony during the show. Parents may ask to see their child at any time and their child will be brought to them in the mezzanine area.  

  • 1 adult per dancer is permitted in the upstairs changing area if help is needed with their dancer’s costume change, after the dancer is dressed a volunteer will walk the dancer to their sit with their next class in the balcony. (Females only upstairs during the show, boys will be given their own changing area)
