Happy New Year! Recital excitement is beginning to fill our studio! Our faculty is cutting music to the perfect length, costume deliveries are starting to arrive and our favorite part - our classes are learning their performance choreography!
Upcoming Dates to note on your 2025 calendar:
February 17-22: Presidents Week Break – studio closed.
April 14-19: Spring Break - studio closed.
May 8-9-10: Educational Class Pictures at the studio with Jessica Popovich Photography - we are so excited to welcome Jessica back to our studio to take beautiful photos of our dancers and groups! A schedule and ordering information will be available closer to pictures. Purchase not required.
May 27 & 28: Stage Rehearsals at Palace Theatre in Lockport NY (schedule to be determined)
May 30: Competition Showcase Recital at 6:30 PM
May 31: Recital Showcases at 11 AM, 2:30 PM and 6 PM at the Palace Theatre in Lockport NY
(Each class will perform in one showtime. Classes will be assigned to showtimes in the next few weeks)
Further Recital information will be available in the coming months. Classes will be working hard on their performance pieces in the next few weeks, please do your best to be in class. And don't forget to practice your steps at home too!
Account Reminders:
Please be sure your tuition account is current, including January's payment. If you are unsure of your account status, please visit your parent portal account or contact the office.
The RECITAL FEE of $75 per family is due with your February tuition payment. If you are on AutoPay, this fee will be deducted AUTOMATICALLY with your February tuition.
As noted on the tuition/policies page of our website, the rehearsal fee is an annual fee of $75 per family due with your February payment. This fee covers costs incurred with our spring recital production, including venue/lighting rental, scenery, labor and videography. This fee also includes access to the Recital video downloads.
Competition Parents - please review your statements carefully. Competition fees, costume balances and solo/small group costumes will be due in February and March.
Recital Music!
Cut recital music is being added to the parent portal as it becomes available. Once your class is available, you can download your child's music right on your portal. Click the 3 lines in the top left for the drop-down menu. Then click the VIEW CLASS DOCUMENTS link in the ACTIONS column your parent portal homepage. Solo/small group music will be under FAMILY DOCUMENTS. Having the cut version of their recital music makes it easy for your child to practice at home!
Weather Reminder:
With the cold winter weather upon us, please note: ALL studio cancelations will be announced via email to all families attending class that day along with a message on our voicemail and post on social media. We also will call it into WIVB and WKBW. If we are not posted, we are OPEN as our closing decisions are independent of any school district or businesses.
